Improving Child Safety When Traveling

July 10, 2006 - The Blunt family is pictured with members of the National Child Passenger Safety Board, St. John’s Hospital staff and Rep. Charlie Denison. Governor Blunt signed legislation improving the safety of our children as they travel by establishing that children under eight, shorter than 4’9” and less than 80 pounds must ride in an approved child restraint or booster seat.
