Opening of Missouri's Heart Gallery in Springfield
July 21, 2006 - Governor and Mrs. Matt Blunt attend the opening of Missouri's Heart Gallery in Springfield. The Heart Gallery is an exhibit of professional photographs of Missouri children who are awaiting adoption. Photographers from across the state have donated their services to capture pictures of the children in more natural surroundings that feature their interests and personalities.
Heart Galleries are being held across the country to promote and encourage adoptions for children in foster care who can not safely return home.
