Preparations for Anticipated Flooding
May 8, 2007 - After assessing areas in Northwest Missouri impacted by flooding and meeting with local emergency coordinators to help ensure state emergency resources are reaching those in need, Gov. Matt Blunt assists with the Department of Transportation’s sandbagging effort. The sandbags will be used if needed to help hold back waters to keep Highway 63 open or will be made available to other areas.
