Missouri State Teacher Association Address

Gov. Matt Blunt affirms his continued commitment to increase funding for Missouri classrooms every year he is in office as he addresses members of the Missouri State Teachers Association about the importance of providing a world class education for students.  In his address, Gov. Blunt noted that in addition to comparing our students with the students of other states, we must also compare them to the students of other nations. The governor stressed that international benchmarking will give our state a better sense of how well Missouri students are prepared for the global economy. (Bill Greenblatt)
