November 21, 2006 - Gov. Matt Blunt helps the Jefferson City Salvation Army by ringing a bell for the Army’s 2006 Tree of Lights Campaign. The goal for the 2006 campaign is to raise $165,000.

“I am grateful for the generous support offered by countless groups like the Salvation Army that reach out to Missourians during the holiday season and all year round,” Blunt said. “It is an honor to participate in the Salvation Army’s annual campaign and be a part of the memorable holiday tradition of outreach and care.”
