“As we work to strengthen Missouri’s health care system and provide health coverage to more Missourians than ever before in our state’s history, the federal government must remain a reliable partner. We are working to expand Missourians’ access to care and must have the flexibility to ensure we can provide our children the health coverage they need.”

“The generosity of Missouri’s state employees has led to another successful campaign. With the help of many small and large contributions, state employees donated more than $1 million to help more than one thousand charitable organizations provide much needed services.”

Blunt and Carnahan listen as Mark Arcabaso, owner of Domenico's, talks about the benefits of the Missouri Business Portal.

“We all know someone whose life has been affected by autism. I have heard heartbreaking stories from families with autistic children. The earlier we can diagnosis Autism, the earlier treatment can begin. My plan more than doubles the funding for autism diagnosis and treatment to help children struggling with the disorder live up to their full potential. With this funding we will expand the availability of services for autism diagnosis and treatment which will help eliminate waiting lists so children who need help can get that help faster.”

“This is an example of what better management and oversight can mean for important programs like child care,” Blunt said. “Now we can take the money we saved and use it to help additional low-income children and families access child care.”
