Blunt Appoints Elizabeth Hogan 22nd Judicial Court Associate Circuit Judge

 

ST. LOUIS — Gov. Matt Blunt appointed Elizabeth B. Hogan as the Associate Circuit Judge of the 22nd Circuit Court in St. Louis City.

Hogan resides in St. Louis and is an attorney for the Voices of Children, formerly St. Louis City CASA. She was previously a partner with the Hogan Law Firm. Her broad legal experience has given her a background in criminal defense and domestic abuse. Hogan obtained her juris doctorate from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan. She received her bachelors of arts from DePauw University in Indiana.

Hogan will fill the vacancy created by Edward W. Sweeney’s appointment to serve as judge of the 22nd Judicial Circuit. She is one of three qualified persons nominated by the 22nd Judicial Circuit Commission.

Her appointment will end December 31st following the next general election after the expiration of twelve months in office.
