Blunt Makes Appointments to State Boards and Commissions

JEFFERSON CITY–Gov. Matt Blunt announced appointments of members who will serve on various state boards and commissions.

Coordinating Board for Early Childhood

Roseann K. Bentley, of Springfield, is a Greene County Commissioner. Ms. Bentley served in the Missouri Senate from 1995 through 2003. She holds a bachelor’s degree in education from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Ms. Bentley’s appointment is subject to Senate confirmation for a term ending at the pleasure of the governor.

Dam and Reservoir Safety Council

Gerald F. Engemann (R), 57 of Hermann, is the co-owner and operator of Tri County Trucking where he has been building dams and lakes since the company began in 1976. His reappointment as a representative of the earthmoving industry is subject to Senate confirmation for a term ending on April 3, 2008.

Missouri Health Facilities Review Committee

Robert A. (Tony) Foster (R), 46 of Springfield, is the director of acquisitions and development for Foster Hospitality Group L.L.C. He holds a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from Missouri State University. His appointment is subject to Senate confirmation for a term ending on Jan. 1, 2009.
