Blunt Makes Appointments to State Boards, Commissions and Councils
JEFFERSON CITY–Gov. Matt Blunt announced the appointments of members who will serve on several boards, commissions and councils.
Advisory Committee on 911 Service Oversight
Gary F. Toelke, 54 of Union, has served as sheriff of Franklin County since 1988. Toelke attended East Central College in Union, Missouri and the FBI National Academy by the University of Virginia. Toelke’s appointment is subject to Senate confirmation for a term ending on April 9, 2006.
Child Abuse and Neglect Review Board
Peggy E. Adams, 63 of Kirkwood, is an active volunteer within her community. Adams holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology and psychology from Morningside College in Iowa. Adams’ appointment to Review Board B is subject to Senate confirmation for a term ending on April 7, 2006.
Katherine (Katie) D. Hilton, 55 of Lebanon, is an administrative assistant for the City of Lebanon. Hilton holds a bachelor’s degree in writing from Southwest Missouri State University. Hilton’s appointment to Review Board A is subject to Senate confirmation for a term ending on April 7, 2007.
Health and Educational Facilities Authority
Thomas J. Carlson (D), 52 of Springfield, is the mayor of Springfield and helped form Carlson Gardener, Inc. Carlson holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from George Washington University and is a graduate of the University of Missouri- Kansas City School of Law. Carlson’s appointment is subject to Senate confirmation for a term ending on July 30, 2010.
Missouri Assistive Technology Advisory Council
Nolan Crabb, 47 of Jefferson City, is a computer information tech at Rehabilitation Services for the Blind. Crabb holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from Brigham Young University. Crabb’s appointment is for a term ending on Aug. 28, 2008.
Michael J. Goad, 43 of St. Louis, is an accountant with the City of St. Louis. Goad holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of North Carolina-Charlotte. Goad’s appointment is for a term ending on Aug. 28, 2007.
Raymond (Chip) H. Hailey, 52 of Joplin, is a personal care attendant coordinator at the Independent Living Center in Joplin. Hailey completed the Program for the Blind, now the Center for Blindness and Low Vision in Kansas City. He has received training in basic computer skills, orientation and mobility, and Braille. Hailey’s appointment is for a term ending on Aug. 28, 2006.
Kerri A. Morgan, 31 of St. Louis, is a researcher lab manager and instructor for the occupational therapy program at Washington University. Morgan holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Texas Christian University and a master’s of occupational therapy from Washington University. Morgan’s appointment is for a term ending on Aug. 28, 2007.
Missouri Commission for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing
Emily A. Northcraft, 30 of Kansas City, is a freelance graphic designer with an emphasis on design, marketing and event services. Northcraft holds a bachelor of fine arts degree in graphic design from Westminster College. Northcraft’s appointment is for a term ending on March 22, 2007.
Missouri Dental Board
Dr. Kevin D. Wallace, 42 of Rogersville, operates a private dental practice in Springfield. Wallace is a graduate of Central Methodist College and holds a doctorate from Washington University School of Dental Medicine. Wallace’s appointment is subject to Senate confirmation for a term ending on Oct. 16, 2010.
Missouri Real Estate Commission
Doris J. Carlin, 53 of Joplin, is the broker/partner of Pro-100 Inc. Realtors. Carlin holds a bachelor’s degree from Los Angeles Valley College and is a graduate of the Realtor Institute. Carlin’s appointment is subject to Senate confirmation for a term ending on Oct. 16, 2011.
