Blunt Appoints Members to State Board, Committee and Commission
JEFFERSON CITY - Missouri Governor Matt Blunt has appointed members to serve on the Life Science Research Committee, the Missouri Housing Development Commission, and the Missouri Western Board of Regents.
Life Science Research Committee
Richard D. Johnson of Kansas City has worked in life sciences, chemistry and pharmacy for more than forty years. He has his Ph.D in pharmacy/chemistry from the University of California, San Francisco; attended Lincoln University School of law; received his MBA from Rockhurst College Graduate School of Business; and has continued his education at Stanford, Northwestern, and Harvard. Johnson is currently an adjunct graduate professor for the UMKC School of Pharmacy.
Jeffrey L. Fox of St. Louis is the President and Chief Operating Officer for Harbor Group, Ltd. He received his MBA from Washington University and has worked with corporations spanning from Jasco Chemical Corporation to Omniquip and Eckler Industries.
Judith G. Haggard of Kennet is a Family Nurse Practitioner in the SEMO Health Network and has worked in nursing since 1967. She has served as a nursing instructor, a health occupations instructor, and clinical therapist.
Jeanne M. Daffron of St. Joseph received her Ph.D in nursing from Texas Women’s University in Denton, Texas, her A.B.D Higher Education, and her M.P.A. Health Policy and Planning from the University of Missouri, Kansas City. She is currently serving as the Assistant Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs for Missouri Western State College.
Kevin C. Sprouse is the Vice President and Chief Operations Officer for Immvac, Inc. He has a BS in Marketing Management and has worked as a laboratory manager, distribution manager and sales and advertising manager.
Edward S. Stevens of Kansas City is acting Legal Counsel for LabOne, Inc., a publicly-traded health care risk and assessment company. Stevens has represented HMOs, hospitals, health systems, surgery centers, academic medical centers, skilled nursing facilities and physician group practices in a wide range of matters. He is a published author and distinguished speaker.
Missouri Housing Development Commission
Robert C. Fulp of Springfield is the Senior Executive Vice President of The Signature Bank. He has been an active part of the banking industry for almost thirty years. Fulp is a member of the Missouri Bankers Association and the American Institute of Banking and received his BS in Finance and Banking from Southwest Missouri State University.
Missouri Western Board of Regents
R. Patt Lilly of St. Joseph will continue to serve on the Missouri Western Board of Regents. Lilly is the President/CEO of the St. Joseph Area Chamber of Commerce and is a member of the American Chamber of Commerce Executives and the International City Managers Association. Lilly has served as the City Manager for both St. Joseph and Bellaire, TX and received a MPA from the University of Houston.
The appointments are subject to confirmation by the Missouri Senate.
