Blunt Makes Interim Appointments to State Boards, Commissions and Councils
JEFFERSON CITY—Gov. Matt Blunt announced the interim appointments of members who will serve on several boards, commissions and councils.
Advisory Commission for Physical Therapists
Gwenna Peters, 47 of Columbia, is the owner of Peters Rehab LLC. Peters holds a bachelor’s degree in physical therapy from St. Louis University. Peters’ appointment is subject to Senate confirmation for a term ending on October 1, 2007.
Board of Therapeutic Massage
Renate D. Brodecker, 42 of Eldon, is an instructor at Professional Massage Training Center. Brodecker received a certificate of completion from Professional Massage Training Center. Brodecker’s appointment is subject to Senate confirmation for a term ending on June 17, 2007.
Missouri Board for Architects, Professional Engineers, Professional Land Surveyors and Landscape Architects
Charles R. Fugate, 69 of West Plains, is city administrator and city engineer for West Plains. Fugate holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Kansas. Fugate’s appointment is subject to Senate confirmation for a term ending on September 30, 2008.
Michael D. Gray, 56 of Ash Grove, is manager of the survey department at Anderson Engineering, Inc and vice president on its board of directors. Gray served as president of the Ozark Chapter of MSPS. Gray’s reappointment is subject to Senate confirmation for a term ending on September 30, 2008.
Kathleen Warman, 44 of Kansas City, is an architect with Warman Design Group Architects. Warman holds bachelor degrees in architecture and environmental design from the University of Kansas. Warman’s reappointment is subject to Senate confirmation for a term ending on September 30, 2008.
Missouri State Board of Nursing
Clarissa McCamy, 44 of St. Joseph, is a clinical office nurse for Heartland Health. McCamy attended NS Hillyard Vocational Technical School and earned a LPN nursing certificate with IV certification. McCamy’s appointment is subject to Senate confirmation for a term ending on June 1, 2008.
Missouri Training and Employment Council
John S. Gaal, 46 of Ballwin, is director of training and workforce development for the Carpenters’ District Council of Greater St. Louis. Gaal holds a bachelor’s degree in technology of architecture from Washington University, a master’s in business and management and a master’s in business administration from Webster University, a master’s in international business from St. Louis University and a doctorate in education from Argosy University in Florida. Gaal’s appointment is subject to Senate confirmation for a term ending on August 28, 2008.
John R. Wittstruck, 61 of Jefferson City, is director of the Education Policy, Planning, and Improvement Center at the Missouri Department of Higher Education. Wittstruck holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from Morningside College in Iowa, a master’s in student personnel administration and doctorate in higher/postsecondary education administration from Syracuse University. Wittstruck’s reappointment is subject to Senate confirmation for a term ending on August 28, 2008.
