Blunt Appoints Pondrom as Crawford County Treasurer
STEELVILLE–Gov. Matt Blunt announced the appointment of Joseph (Joe) R. Pondrom (R) as Crawford County Treasurer.
Pondrom, 28 of Sullivan, has been active in public policy for the past ten years. Pondrom is a graduate of Sullivan High School. He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Southeast Missouri State University and attended the University of Missouri School of Law.
Pondrom is active within his community serving as treasurer for Neighbors Against Crime and the Crawford County Chapter of the American Red Cross. Pondrom is a member of the St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Sullivan.
"Joe Pondrom’s past experience in public policy and his community service will be a great asset as he begins his tenure as Crawford County Treasurer," Blunt said. "I am pleased he has agreed to serve the citizens of Crawford County in this capacity."
Pondrom replaces Lucille Giles who resigned.
