Blunt Appoints New Election Board Commissioners
JEFFERSON CITY–Gov. Matt Blunt has nominated new members to serve on the Board of Election Commissioners for Saint Louis City and the Jackson County Board of Election Commissioners.
Board of Election Commissioners for Saint Louis City
Jack Lary (R), 75 of St. Louis City, is an equipment salesman for Cardinal Business Equipment Sales. Lary is a veteran of the Korean War. Lary’s appointment is subject to Senate confirmation for a term ending on Jan. 10, 2009.
Eileen M. McCann (D), 53 of St. Louis City, is the sole practitioner at General Practice of Law. McCann holds a bachelor’s degree in nursing and a juris doctorate from Saint Louis University. McCann is a former state representative serving in the 81st Session of the Missouri General Assembly. McCann’s appointment is subject to Senate confirmation for a term ending on Jan. 10, 2009.
Jackson County Board of Election Commissioners
Tammy L. Brown (R), 42 of Lee’s Summit, is the president of Summit Lakes Junior High School PTA and second vice president for Cedar Creek Elementary School PTA. Brown is also a member of Lee’s Summit R-7 School District Citizen Advisory Committee. Brown’s reappointment is subject to Senate confirmation for a term ending on April 4, 2010.
