Blunt Orders Flags Flown at Half-staff in Memory of Highway Patrol Officer
JEFFERSON CITY - Missouri Governor Matt Blunt today announced that all flags at state facilities in Missouri will be flown at half-staff to honor the memory of Missouri State Highway Patrolman Ralph Tatoian who was killed in a car accident en route to a call.
"Our heartfelt prayers are with Trooper Tatoian’s family, friends, and co-workers," Blunt said. "Our appreciation for his and all law enforcement officers’ commitment to protecting Missouri’s citizens is boundless."
Flags will remain at half-staff until dusk on the evening of funeral services honoring Trooper Tatoian. Final arrangements have not been announced.
