Blunt Appoints Ford as Carroll County Assessor
CARROLLTON—Gov. Matt Blunt announced the appointment of Devin R. Ford as Carroll County Assessor.
"I am pleased Devin Ford has agreed to take over the responsibilities of the assessor’s office. Devin’s knowledge of the inner workings of the office will be a great benefit to the citizens of Carroll County," Blunt said.
Ford, of Carrollton, has been the chief appraiser for the assessor’s office for more than seven years. Ford is responsible for assessing personal property, reviewing and appraising real estate throughout the county and compiling the county personal property and real estate tax books. Ford has attended IAAO courses in appraisal techniques to further assist with her duties in the assessor’s office.
Ford replaces Wanda Witthar who resigned.
