Blunt Appoints Fox as Cedar County Southern Commissioner
STOCKTON–Gov. Matt Blunt announced the appointment of John A. Fox (R) as the Southern County Commissioner for Cedar County.
Fox, 47 of Fair Play, is a fifth generation Cedar County livestock producer. He is also employed as a field man for United Producers, Inc. Fox served on the Stockton R-1 Board of Education and is a member of the Cedar County Extension Council.
"John Fox’s long standing service to the community and his understanding of Cedar County will be invaluable as he takes on this new role," Blunt said. "I am pleased he has agreed to take on this important responsibility."
Fox replaces Richard Montgomery who resigned.
