JEFFERSON CITY– Governor Matt Blunt today applauded the Senate for approving Senate Bill 389, the historic Higher Education plan. "The Senate's action is a victory for Missouri students, for Missouri families and for colleges and universities across the state," Blunt said. "Education is my highest priority as Missouri's governor, and I applaud Senate members for taking this bold step to support higher education in our state, increase funding for student scholarships, introduce accountability measures, provide tuition stabilization and enact the Lewis and Clark Discovery Initiative for Missouri students."
