Blunt Appoints Gary Lynch To State Appeals Court
JEFFERSON CITY–Gov. Matt Blunt appointed Polk County Associate Circuit Judge Gary W. Lynch to the Missouri Southern District Court of Appeals.
"Gary Lynch’s legal background will serve him well as he assumes the responsibilities of a state appeals court judge." Blunt said. "I am pleased he has agreed to serve in this role."
Lynch, 53 of Bolivar, has served as Polk County Associate Circuit Judge since 2003. Prior to his election as associate circuit judge, he operated a private law practice for more than 25 years. Lynch holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and elementary education from Southwest Baptist University and a juris doctorate from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
Lynch will fill the vacancy created by the resignation of the Honorable James K. Prewitt.
