Blunt Appoints Rich Moore 37th Judicial Court Circuit Judge

WEST PLAINS–Gov. Matt Blunt appointed Rich Moore as Circuit Judge of the 37th Judicial Circuit.

Moore, 61 of West Plains, serves as a principal in the law firm of Brill, Moore & Wagoner, P.C. He served as a captain in the U.S. Army. Moore brings to the bench 35 years of courtroom experience. Moore holds a bachelor’s degree and a juris doctorate from the University of Missouri-Columbia.

"Rich Moore’s military background and legal experience will be an asset as he assumes the position of circuit judge," Blunt said. "I am pleased that he has agreed to serve his fellow Missourians in this capacity."

Moore will fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Judge R. Jack Garrett for a term ending on Dec. 31, 2006.
