Blunt Appoints Daniel Olsen To 17th Judicial Circuit
JEFFERSON CITY–Gov. Matt Blunt appointed Daniel W. Olsen as Associate Circuit Judge of the 17th Judicial Circuit.
“I am pleased Daniel Olsen has agreed to serve as Associate Circuit Judge for the people of Cass County,” Blunt said. “His experience in both public and private practice makes him uniquely qualified for this position and he will be a tremendous asset to our state’s judicial branch.”
Olsen, 53 of Raymore, is a municipal judge for the Garden City, Lake Winnebago and Raymore Municipal Divisions. Olsen is also a partner in the law firm of Van Hooser, Olsen, Eftink, P.C. Olsen holds a bachelor’s degree in animal science from Kansas State University and a juris doctorate from Washburn University.
Olsen’s appointment is for a term ending when his successor is duly elected or appointed.
