State Offices to Close Monday in Honor of Martin Luther King, Jr.
JEFFERSON CITY–Gov. Matt Blunt reminds Missourians all state offices will be closed on Monday, Jan. 16, in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.
"In January we pause to honor the life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and his dream of equality for all," Blunt said. "Let us remember Dr. King’s dream of equality not only on Monday but throughout the year."
