Blunt Appoints McMillian as Jefferson County Clerk
HILLSBORO —Gov. Matt Blunt announced the appointment of Janet C. McMillian as Jefferson County Clerk.
"I am pleased that Janet McMillian has agreed to serve as county clerk. Janet’s experience in the office and community will be a benefit the citizens of Jefferson County," Blunt said.
McMillian, of Imperial, has previous experience with the Jefferson County Clerk’s office. She served as a verification board judge for the office over a three year span. McMillian attended general education courses at Mineral Area College and Jefferson County College.
McMillian, 42, is active in her community volunteering as a tutor and home mother at Windsor School and donating her time to various church activities.
McMillian replaces the late Eleanor Koch Rehm.
