Blunt Announces Flags to Be Flown at Half-staff in Recognition of Memorial Day
JEFFERSON CITY– In recognition of Memorial Day Gov. Matt Blunt today announced that all flags at state facilities in Missouri will be flown at half-staff on Monday, May 28.
"As we celebrate Memorial Day, it is my hope that all Missourians will honor those who gave their lives for the freedom and opportunities we enjoy and continue to pray for those who are serving in harms way to defend that freedom and opportunity today," Blunt said.
Flags will remain at half-staff until noon on Monday, May 28.
