Gov. Matt Blunt Statement on Robert Onder Appointment
JEFFERSON CITY– Gov. Matt Blunt today issued the following statement on the Senate Gubernatorial Appointments Committee approval of Rep. Robert Onder to the Life Sciences Research Board:
“Robert Onder is an honorable public servant who will make a great addition to Missouri’s Life Science Research Board. I look forward to working with Rep. Onder and the board as they work to bring the state’s life science initiatives together to enhance and build upon the opportunities available in Missouri.
“I also commend the General Assembly for funding the Missouri Life Sciences Trust Fund for the first time since its inception. The valuable investment will help promote Missouri as a leader in this important industry that holds outstanding growth potential for the future.”
