JEFFERSON CITY– In recognition of Peace Officers Memorial Day, Gov. Matt Blunt announces that all flags at state facilities in Missouri will be flown at half-staff on Tuesday, May 15.

"On Peace Officers Memorial Day we remember all law enforcement officers in our state and country who work everyday to keep our neighborhoods safe, especially those officers who made the ultimate sacrifice for our safety," Blunt said.

Flags will remain at half-staff until dusk on Tuesday, May 15.
