Blunt Nominates Dahl to Missouri Investment Trust Board of Trustees
JEFFERSON CITY - Missouri Governor Matt Blunt today nominated Rick Dahl of Jefferson City to a second term on the Missouri Investment Trust Board of Trustees which invests state money into specific funds for long-term growth.
Dahl, the chief investment officer of the Missouri State Employees' Retirement System (MOSERS), has served on the Trust Board of Trustees since 2000. Previously, Dahl worked as a fixed income portfolio manager for the Missouri State Treasurer's office. Dahl earned a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Missouri-Columbia and is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP).
The seven-member Missouri Investment Trust was created by the Legislature in 1997 and three of its members are chosen by the governor.
Dahl's appointment is subject to state Senate approval.
