Statement from Gov. Matt Blunt on the Passing of Sen. Larry Taylor
"Melanie and I are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Sen. Larry Taylor. My family has known the Taylor family for many years and our thoughts and prayers are with them and Larry’s numerous friends in this time of mourning. Larry was a fine public servant who made numerous contributions to our great state."
NOTE: Blunt ordered all flags at state facilities to be flown at half-staff to honor the memory of Sen. Taylor. Flags will remain at half-staff until dusk on the evening of funeral services honoring Sen. Taylor.
