Blunt Appoints Shull to Missouri Gaming Commission
JEFFERSON CITY – Gov. Matt Blunt has appointed Noel J. Shull (R) to the Missouri Gaming Commission.
Shull, 63 of Liberty, is executive vice president of UMB Bank in Kansas City. Shull holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Missouri- Columbia and earned an advanced degree from Southern Methodist University in Texas.
Shull is active in several organizations including the Small Business Administration, the Missouri Bankers Association, Mid-American Regional Council and the National Small Business United.
Shull’s appointment is subject to Senate confirmation for a term ending on April 29, 2008. Shull replaces George Hartsfield whose term expired.
The Missouri Gaming Commission was created in 1993 to regulate gambling boats. The Commission works to protect licensed gaming operations from criminal activities and to ensure that games are conducted fairly, according to statute.
