Blunt Congratulates St. Louis for International Recognition
JEFFERSON CITY–Gov. Matt Blunt today congratulated Mayor Francis Slay and the City of St. Louis on receiving the World Leadership Award in the urban renewal category.
“I want to congratulate St. Louis on their international recognition regarding improvements the city has undertaken to enhance the quality of life for its residents,” Blunt said. “St. Louis is a great community, with a blossoming international presence and marvelous potential. The citizens of St. Louis should be proud of this special and well-deserved recognition.”
The World Leadership Forum’s leadership awards honor deserving cities with international recognition for their quality of leadership and obstacles they have overcome.
