Statement from Gov. Matt Blunt on Democratic Senators’ Action
Last night, Democratic Senators defeated an amendment to add an emergency clause SB 4.
"It is disappointing that partisan Senate Democrats have extended the time Missouri workers could potentially be left without the important protections offered under the reformed workers’ compensation system. By their action they have exposed Missouri small business men and women and hard working Missourians to needless risk."
