Statement from Gov. Matt Blunt on Resignation of Interim Higher Education Director Dr. Charles McClain
The Missouri Department of Higher Education announced the resignation effective Sept. 22 of Interim Director Dr. Charles McClain. Gov. Matt Blunt issued the following statement in response to that announcement:
“Charles McClain is truly a great public servant. His contributions as the Interim Director of Higher Education are only his most recent gift to our state. Melanie and I will join with many others in hoping and praying that his health improves.”
