Statement from Gov. Matt Blunt on Missouri Elections
“Missourians’ confidence in the improvements we continue to make at the state level is gratifying. I am pleased that despite national trends Missourians have affirmed our efforts to help create good paying jobs for working families, improve efficiency in state government, hold the line on job destroying taxes, make education the state’s highest priority, and ensure that government reflects the values of the people by voting to allow us to continue the good work we have begun. I congratulate election winners and look forward to working with members of the general assembly to continue to put Missourians’ values and interests first.”
