Governor Matt Blunt today issued the following statement:
“Today we remember Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. as a man who believed in the dignity of every person and justice for all regardless of race. Dr. King’s work to end a terrible injustice and empower the individual transformed a quiet hope into a powerful movement that swept across America. As we celebrate his life and work, let us continue to honor his dream of equality for all.”
