Statement from Gov. Matt Blunt on Passage of Federal Transportation Bill
"I congratulate the Congress on passing a much needed transportation reauthorization bill that will provide Missouri with $1.3 billion in new highway funds. I particularly want to thank Sen. Kit Bond for his dedication and tireless efforts to increase Missouri’s share of transportation funds. I encourage MODOT to work expeditiously on fulfilling its commitment to Missourians by building roads, fixing bridges and addressing other vital transportation issues throughout our state."
