Michigan Governor to Call Milhaven as Part of World Series Wager

ST. LOUIS–Michigan Gov. Jennifer Granholm plans to call a St. Louis radio station tomorrow, as part of a friendly wager she placed with Gov. Matt Blunt on the World Series between the St. Louis Cardinals and Detroit Tigers.

“Tiger fans are good sports,” Blunt said. “We had a lot of fun with this, and I’m thrilled the Cardinals won.”

Since the Tigers lost, Granholm will call Big 550 KTRS host McGraw Milhaven. The live interview is scheduled to air at 10:05 a.m. Granholm, who’s running for re-election, will also eventually put on an Albert Pujols jersey, enjoy a Missouri branded Angus steak and the choice of a bottle of Missouri’s award winning wine, Bud Select or Fitz’s Root Beer, and read the first chapter of Three Nights in August about Cardinals Manager Tony LaRussa. All of this has to be documented with a photograph made available to the media.
