Blunt Orders Flags Flown at Half-staff in Memory of Highway Patrol Officer

JEFFERSON CITY—Missouri Governor Matt Blunt today announced that all flags at state facilities in Missouri will be flown at half-staff to honor the memory of Missouri State Highway Patrol Sgt. Carl Dewayne Graham who was found shot outside his home this weekend.

"Our heartfelt prayers are with Sgt. Graham’s family, friends, and fellow troopers," Blunt said. "There is no way to express our gratitude for his and all law enforcement officers’ commitment to protecting Missouri's citizens."

Flags will remain at half-staff until dusk on the evening of funeral services honoring Sgt. Graham. Final arrangements have not been announced.
