Request a Proclamation from Governor Blunt

Requirements for requesting a proclamation:

Request must be received at least three weeks prior to event for which it is requested

Must have pertinence and significance to the State of Missouri

Pertinence – Either requested by a Missourian or about a Missouri person, group, organization or event
Significance – anniversary for organization of more than ten years or significant annual event

No more than one proclamation per topic
i.e. Ceramics Month and Ceramics Week would not both receive approval

Retirement Proclamations

Must have been employed at current employer for 25 years or more
Most retirees will receive letter of congratulations unless proclamation is requested

Birthday Proclamations

Must be at least 80 years of age
Most recipients will receive letter of congratulations unless proclamation is requested
